Can my children write to their favourite Disney character before arriving?

    Dear Shannon,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, where I'm happy to answer your question about writing to your favorite Disney character!
It's such a fun idea to mail a letter to Mickey or Minnie or Goofy or Donald...or whoever your kids want to meet!
I am happy to inform you that there is a way to write to your favorite Disney character!
I personally sent Mickey and Minnie an invitation to my sister's wedding and they replied with a very cute postcard congratulating the happy couple!
You can send your fan letter to:

    Walt Disney Company
    Attn: Fan Mail Department
    500 South Buena Vista Street
    Burbank, CA 91521

I would encourage your kids to write and mail the letters early. It usually takes anywhere between 4-6 weeks to receive a postcard response from the characters. Also, they may not necessarily hear back from the exact character to whom they wrote; however, rest assured they'll still smile from (Mouse) ear to (Mouse) ear when they receive a response to their letters!
    Have a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Day!
