Hi Kerry,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's nice to hear from you again!
One of my very favorite parts of Walt Disney World Vacation planning is outfit planning. My family has so much fun planning the perfect attire for each theme park day and dreaming of all the fun we're about to have. From a Minnie Ear headband to a character t-shirt to the
perfect pair of shoes, I just love putting together a cute and comfortable head-to-toe Disney ensemble!
Kerry, both of my kiddos have worn light-up shoes in the theme parks. I always recommend checking the
Walt Disney World Park Rules before each visit, just to be sure you're not packing something that's prohibited, but the list doesn't mention these particular shoes. In fact, we've even purchased light-up Disney Crocs in the parks. We got an amazing pair of Star Wars Crocs last year featuring light-up lightsabers!
When it comes to shoes, it's so important to bring comfortable, broken-in shoes for your theme park days. We usually walk about 25,000 steps per day in the parks, and our tired feet need all the love they can get. I also bring at least two pairs per person; that way, if one pair is wet, or if we get blisters, we can alternate. Don’t forget a pair of flip-flops to wear in the room and to the pool. I also pack a small container of
cooling, minty foot gel to rub on tired feet before bed before drifting into Disney dreamland.
Have so much fun "walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A.!"
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
