Jambo Mona!
We are as proud as Mufasa at Pride Rock to have you here at planDisney! Feels like the entire kingdom has been awakened with the news that Disneyland Resort is reopening. California residents will be the very first to see this amazing sight as part of the
phased reopening of the Happiest Place on Earth, starting with the
Downtown Disney District, theme parks, resort hotels, shops, and restaurants.
I love how you are wanting to “be prepared” as Scar would say for what your child will need to visit. Your little lion cub does not need a theme park ticket. This is because the wonderful rule that children under 3 years of age can visit
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park without one. Well then, “Hakuna Matata!” No worries about making theme park reservations for your kiddo either as there’s no ticket to link to the reservation. Children under the age of 3 will join the stampede to the theme park with their herd (aka their travel party).
It’s an absolute joy to watch little ones experience all the magic of Disneyland Resort. You may find yourselves camping out in Disneyland Park's Fantasyland with all the classic rides like
Dumbo the Flying Elephant,
Peter Pan’s Flight, and
“it’s a small world.” Whether saying “giddy up” to a trusty horse on
King Arthur Carrousel or getting to play “choo-choo” on
Casey Jr. Circus Train, a preschooler's imagination can flourish here. The main goal is to let them soak in all the fun and whimsy that they possibly can, and where better to do that than a theme park designed by Walt Disney?
Mona, I have such a sense of PRIDE that you entrusted your question to us. Asante sana (thank you)! If you need more planning assistance, we hope that you will return to planDisney and we can work on it together.
