My children are traveling with a band group and will receive their ticket for the park through that channel but I would like to link their passes to our family to provide genie plus so we can all ride together in the evening as a family. How do I do this?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Vicki!

Thanks for stopping by with your question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I don't believe my eyes - are you really visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth - tomorrow!? Oh boy!

I'm so excited that your family will have the opportunity to spend some quality time together in a Walt Disney World Resort theme park. The only thing better than visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth is experiencing it alongside your favorite Mouseketeers! I love the idea of finishing off an enchanting day in the theme park by riding attractions together as a family. Vicki, you'll be able to make plans on behalf of your entire party by linking your accounts using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Before your visit, as long as your children are age 13 or older and do not already have Disney accounts, your children should create profiles in My Disney Experience. Once each child has created a Disney account, you'll need to connect via your Family & Friends Lists. Guests who are connected as Family & Friends in My Disney Experience can include one another in plans like dining reservations and Lightning Lane selections. As long as all members of your party have valid theme park admission and theme park reservations for the day you plan to visit a theme park, you'll also be able to purchase Disney Genie+ service for your entire group! As soon as your children receive their theme park ticket media from their band group, make sure that they link their tickets to their accounts using the My Disney Experience mobile app. Once everyone's tickets are linked and you're all connected via your Family & Friends Lists, you'll be able to purchase Disney Genie+ service for your party and make your group's first Lightning Lane selection! (I like to set an alarm on my phone to remind myself when it's time to make that next selection for my party.)

Vicki, did you know that your visit coincides with the grand finale of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration? If you have the chance, I encourage you to check out Harmonious at EPCOT or Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park before these special nighttime spectaculars end their limited-time runs. It'll be the perfect way for your family to end your memorable day in the theme park!

I'm wishing you and your family a magical and memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, Vicki! If you have any additional questions, please stop back by planDisney again anytime - we're all ears!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
