Do children have to show proof of residents for the Florida resident ticket?

    Hi Sakhilia!

Soon you will be in Walt Disney World in sight of Cinderella Castle ready to fly with Peter Pan, enjoy Dole Whips, and watch spectacular fireworks!

Children under the age of 18 do not need to prove they are Florida residents to qualify for the specially priced tickets for Mickey's neighbors, but the adult accompanying them does need to show documentation of Florida residency. Children with only an out-of-state adult present will not be able to have Florida tickets activated.

An adult with a Florida driver's license or state id that shows a Florida residential address may purchase the discounted in state tickets for themselves and children that are under 18. A mortgage statement, home or car insurance policy or bill, utility bill, or mail from a financial institution or government entity is also acceptable if the documentation is no more than two months old and shows a Florida residential address. You must present a valid picture id such as a passport or driver's license as well.

Wishing you a wonderful visit to see Mickey!
