My children and I rode Mission Space/mild ride, and handled it OK. My kids then went on again on the wilder ride and it was a bit too much. How does the new Star Wars ride compare in reguard to motion sickness?

    Hi Joan,

I had the wonderful opportunity to ride the new Star Tours, The Adventure Continues in May of 2011 and let me tell you that it is simply amazing! Every ride is different, with over 50 different combinations of storyline and adventure. There was nothing about the ride that was stomach twisting even with the 3D. In fact, the new ride is actually smoother that the the original Star Tours ride. It is best to keep your eyes open and facing forward during the ride (avoid looking to either side). The 3D really adds depth and realism to this ride. My son loves Mission Space the Orange Side (the wilder ride).  I have been on that ride more times than I can count.  Based on my personal experience the new Star Tours: the Adventure Continues ride is comparable to the Green side of Mission Space.  I would definitely recommend that you give it a try with your children and who knows you all just may want to ride again and again!

I hope that your next vacation in Walt Disney World is filled with memories and magic!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
