Hiya Lisa! Welcome to planDisney!
You have stopped by the perfect place to get answers to all of your Walt Disney World questions! I have plenty of experience traveling with little ones, so you are in good hands. One of the best parts of Walt Disney World is that children of all ages can take part in many of the experiences. We traveled with my daughter when she was only a year old, and we were able to experience so much together as a family.
Depending on which park you visit, there will be several attractions and experiences that either have a height requirement or does not.
The Magic Kingdom Park has over 20 attractions alone that any child can ride with their family. Attractions such as Peter Pan's Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean, "it's a small world", and countless others lets everyone be a part of the fun. You'll also find plenty of attractions at EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park that are suitable for all ages. The best thing to do is check the Walt Disney World
website for a complete listing of requirements for each attraction.
A few experiences that ended up being a hit with my little ones were the parades, cavalcades, and character meet and greets. Now that the
Festival of Fantasy Parade has returned to the Magic Kingdom Park, I suggest making time during your day to watch it. Countless characters take part in it, and it was a joy to see my daughters' faces light up as they went by. With the return of traditional meet and greets, they'll also get a chance to hug some of them. Mickey is currently meeting at the Town Square Theater toward the front of Magic Kingdom and is decked out in his EARidescent 50th Celebration attire. You'll also find many princesses stationed around the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.
Lisa, have an amazing time at the Most Magical Place on Earth! I hope your family has the best time!
See ya real soon!
