    What does the children receive for their birthday. My son is austic and obessed with mickey. We are coming from the lone star state! This is his 6th birthday.

    I can't think of a more wonderful way to celebrate a birthday than with a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. It's a magical place, and you'll feel the magic even more when you're celebrating your son's special day!

    When you check in at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, make sure to pick up a free Birthday Button for your son to wear. You'll be amazed at how much attention he'll get, and how many birthday wishes he'll receive from Cast Members (and from other guests!). I always enjoy seeing how families celebrate birthdays when visiting the parks. Last weekend I saw a family with matching t-shirts celebrating their special birthday girl - they got the whole family in on the fun!

    You'll also be amazed at how accommodating Walt Disney World is for guests with autism. WDW wants to make sure ALL guests have the most magical vacation experience possible. I encourage you to check out Services for Guests with Disabilities and also Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities to see the services available to make your vacation the most seamless, enjoyable experience possible. 

    One experience you'll definitely want to include for your little Mickey fan is for him to meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater. Mickey not only meets guests but speaks to them personally for a truly individual, amazingly magical experience! What could be better than birthday wishes from the Big Cheese himself?
