How are the children picked for participation in the parade? I noticed when we were there in 2004 that there were children partcipating. My son is handicapped and in a wheelchair but I would so love for him to be in the parade.

This year Disney has a very special parade in the Magic Kingdom called  "Move It, Shake It, ,Celebrate It"!  This happens three to four times a day and the times can be seen on the Times Guide as you enter the park.  It is a small parade of floats, characters, and street actors who sing and dance down Main Street and get the crowd to join them.  It stops at the circle in front of the castle where the characters get down from the floats and ask the children to come out on the street to dance and party.  This would be a perfect time for your son to get involved and be a part of the festivities!  He would be welcomed to join in and enjoy this special time.
