Ahoy, Vikki! You ask a great question. I’m happy to help!
Disney Cruise Line goes above and beyond to ensure that kids have an incredible experience on board. If your junior sailors would like to be picked up, the counselors at
Disney’s Oceaneer Club can message you in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. When my son was younger, we would check on him every hour to make sure he was settling in. Once he felt more comfortable, we were able to leave him for longer periods, knowing he was in great hands.
The app will also list the daily activity schedule, including character meet and greets and youth activities. I recommend stopping by the Oceaneer Club on embarkation during open house hours. It’s a great opportunity to meet the counselors and explore the space together. This way, when secure programming begins, your little ones will feel more comfortable and excited to dive into the fun!
Speaking of fun, Disney Cruise Line offers plenty of activities to keep parents entertained while the kids are off enjoying themselves. From relaxing at the adult-exclusive
Quiet Cove Pool to savoring fine dining at
Palo or even participating in
beverage tastings and trivia games, Disney Cruise Line ensures parents have their own magical experience, too!
I hope your cruise is filled with magical memories that last a lifetime! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out again—we love helping first-time Disney cruisers discover the joy of sailing with Captains Mickey and Minnie.
SEAS the adventure!
