Welcome to planDisney, Chris! A Very Merrytime Cruise is a great way to spend the holidays. From the life-sized gingerbread house to the tree lighting ceremony, Disney Cruise Line spreads holiday cheer across the high seas!
All U.S. Citizens, including children, can sail with either of the following types of
travel documentation on closed-loop cruises beginning and ending at the same U.S. port:
- Original valid U.S. Passport; or
- Original valid U.S. Passport Card; or
- Original valid Trusted Traveler Card (NEXUS, FAST); or
- Original state-issued birth certificate. If a Guest is 16 years or older, a physical government-issued photo ID is also required; digital/mobile state-issued IDs are not acceptable for sailing.
The
Disney Magic has lots of great activities for Guests for all ages! Your 8 year old can have fun in
Disney's Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab, while your 12 year old can hang out in the pre-teen club
Edge. While the kids are away, I hope you will have some time to play in one of the
adult-exclusive areas, like
Quiet Cove Pool or the
Soul Cat Lounge.
Chris, I hope this information helps you get ready for your cruise later this year. We are almost halfway to the holidays! If you have any other questions, sail back to visit us at
planDisney.
