Can children be measured for height requirements just once per day or do they have to be measured before each ride? We have visited parks before where our son was measured once and given a wristband. This saved a lot of time and tears for us.

    Hi Wendy,

That is a great idea!  Unfortunately it's one that hasn't caught on at Walt Disney World yet.  At attractions that have a height requirement, children will have to be measured before entry.  If they are clearly taller than the height requirement, they'll be waved on by.  Keep in mind that if the child looks close to not meeting the requirement, there is a good chance that they will be measured again at the end of the queue just before boarding (by a different cast member).  I'd advise you to get your son a nice chunky pair of sneakers and advise him to stand tall & proud and hopefully you'll avoid the tears on this trip.

    Have a great time!
