Hi, Both our children, would love to experience the 100th anniv. celebration, does the park still have the 100th anniv decorations in DL as well as food and merchandise related to Disney100th celebration? Thanks, Susan

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Bijou! We're so glad you found us to ask this question. Oh boy! Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is practically here and I'm thrilled to help with this question.

It's been an especially magical year with the Disney100 Celebration at the Disneyland Resort. A lot of the festivities have been on pause as we are celebrating the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. Not to worry, I recently returned from a visit and found various Disney100 decorations and merchandise scattered throughout the resort for you and your children to enjoy.

First, let's talk about decorations. While the resort is mostly decked out in its holiday best right now, you can still find a few Disney100 decorations. There are Disney100 medallions intertwined with holiday decorations throughout Downtown Disney District and I even spotted a Disney100 Minnie Mouse statue in Disneyland Park. Head down Main Street, U.S.A. towards Sleeping Beauty Castle and you'll find her in an area off to the right side.

When it comes to food, the resort is mostly focused on seasonal holiday offerings right now. If you haven't tried the Mickey Gingerbread, I highly recommend this one. Quick tip: mobile order him in the Disneyland app from the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. He can sell out pretty quickly, so hop on right at 7:00 a.m. to place your order.

Finally, when it comes to merchandise, you will find a few Disney100 items scattered throughout the various shops in both theme parks. There are also some fun Disney100 Collectible Medallions throughout the resort. If you type "Disney100" into the search feature of the Disneyland app, you can find where all of these are offered.

There's also a wonderful exhibit, Disney 100 Years of Wonder, found inside the Disney Gallery. I spent some time enjoying the exhibit during my last visit. One of the things I love about the Disneyland Resort is its history and how nostalgic it is. It was fun to take a walk down memory lane and I always love learning more about the parks that I love.

Susan, I hope this helps give you some ideas for your upcoming visit. You're just a couple of days away from walking through the tunnel and leaving today to enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy. Here's wishing you a most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
