I have my children linked under My Disney Experience and have added their tickets. My oldest 2 boys are 14 and 17, and I would like for them to be able to manage their own My Disney Experience. Is it too late since I already have them linked under me?

Hey Howdy Hey Heather and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you so much for stopping by with your question about My Disney Experience. I will be happy to give you a little more insight into the usage with your 2 oldest and assign their tickets.

The first thing to do is to have your boys set up their own My Disney Experience accounts. You can have them do this easily online. Once they do, you will then connect with them by going to your "My Family and Friends List" on your My Disney Experience account. At the bottom of the page, you will see an option to "Add Guest" and several options to link to their account. Once you send the request to them and they accept, you should see their names and character icons in the "My Family and Friends List". Now that they are linked to your account, let's get them some tickets!

Since you were the one that purchased the theme park tickets, you should also have the ability to assign them to any member of the party. Back at the home screen of your My Disney Experience account, scroll to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section and look for the heading "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" which you will click on. You should see all of the members of your party you currently are sharing plans with as well as the new additions from your two boys! Since you are the one that set up and is managing their younger profiles, you should have an option on the far right of the screen to "Reassign Tickets" with a drop-down menu that should give you the option to reassign them to their new profiles. As long as you see them there, they should be all set with their new profiles and tickets assigned!

At this point, they should have the ability to download the My Disney Experience app on any smart device they may have and the ability to manage their profiles and see everything they have on the schedule for the day. When you go to make any reservations either with Advanced Dining Reservations, book any Enchanting Extras or when you are on your trip and booking Lightning Lane Entry selections, you should be able to book for everyone in the party, so they won't have to do it themselves. Super easy to use so everyone can stay connected!

I hope that helped to outline the steps to get your boys their accounts. Please feel free to reach back out with any questions you may have, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
