Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    My children are 7, 9, and 12. If we are on a limited schedule, can you recommend the best park to start with? The 7 year old is very "grown-up" :0)

    Even on a limited schedule, you can have an amazing time at Disney!

    I'd recommend starting at Disney's Animal Kingdom (DAK). There is something for all ages at this park and you can usually cover everything in a day. This park typically features shorter operating hours. I would imagine guests in a wild life park after dark would disturb the animals' beauty sleep.

    Here are some things I'd recommend as "must dos" for those ages:

    * Expedition Everest
    * Kali River Rapids
    * Dinosaur
    * Primeval Whirl
    * Kilimanjaro Safaris
    * Festival of the Lion King
    * Finding Nemo - The Musical
    * Flights of Wonder
    * Camp Minnie-Mickey - I am a huge kid at heart and still LOVE having a picture taken with the characters

    This park also features many trails and exhibits where you can spend as little or as much time as you'd like including:

    * The Oasis Exhibit
    * Discovery Island Trails
    * Pangani Forest Exploration Trail
    * Rafiki's Planet Watch
    * Maharajah Jungle Trek

    If you have another partial day that you'd like to plan, I head to Epcot and catch the following:

    * Soarin'
    * Test Track
    * Mission: Space - make sure you read the attraction info on this - the spinning side is intense
    * Sum of All Thrills at Innoventions
    * The Seas with Nemo and Friends
    * Turtle Talk with Crush
    * Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure
    * IllumiNations
