My children are 6 and 10 and very interested in the archery at Fort Wilderness. The web-site, contradicts itself saying it is for "guests 7 years of age and up" but then lower down, "guests 6 years of age and up". Could you confirm th

Hi Jamie!  I can see why you are confused - the Disney website does indeed give contradictory information regarding the minimum age for the Archery Experience at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. After checking the website, I called Fort Wilderness and they did confirm that the minimum age for this activity is 7 years old.  I am sorry that your youngest will not be able to participate in the archery on this visit, but perhaps next time you will be able to sign both kids up for this really fun activity.

I'm sorry I couldn't give you more positive news, Jamie, but they do check ages, and for liability reasons have to stick to the appropriate ages they have determined for that activity.  I have sent a message informing Disney of the incorrect information, so hopefully other guests won't be confused and disappointed in the future.

I hope that despite not being able to do the archery, that you and both of your boys have a fantastic Walt Disney World vacation.  Please let me know if I can help you with any other aspects of planning your trip - it would be my pleasure!

    Have a magical day,
    Kristen
