Our 3 children (3,4,6) first WDW trip will be in 8-08! I was wondering if there are child identity cards or the like, that can be purchased in case any of our kids get separated from us? Nervous about losing one of them in such a busy place! Kris F. NJ

    Hi Kristina,

I am from NJ and I know that many local police departments can make a child identity card for you before you leave for vacation.  There is not a place in the WDW that makes them.

If you can't get one from your police department, you can easily make one yourself.  Take a picture of your kids now and write all their information on the back.  You can bring it to a local office supply store and get it laminated.  You may also want to take a picture of the kids right before you leave your resort room each day.  If they should get separated from you it may be difficult to recall exactly what they were wearing that day.  You can also write down your contact information on a piece of paper and put it in the kids pockets.  On your first day in the park show the kids how to find a Disney Castmember.  Explain to them that if they should get separated, they should find a Castmember and give them your contact information.

Hope that helped.  Enjoy your trip.
