My children and I will make our very first trip to Disney in 17 days!! We are staying in the ASSR and I have been reading alot of reviews, alot are not so good. Just wanted to get your opinions on it .. good, bad, no opinion??? Thank you!!

Hi, Danette!   If you are looking for a huge room, fancy linens, 5-star dining, and personalized service, then an All-Star Resort is probably not for you!   However, if you want a clean, comfortable room, a large food court, and a family friendly atmosphere, then you will be happy with the All-Star!

We have stayed at All-Star Sports 3 times and have been pleased each time.   It does have quick pace and crowds, but we have 2 kids so we fit right in!    The food court has a nice food selection, and the main pool is large enough to accommodate big crowds.  The rooms are not big, but they are quite sufficient.

Do I prefer a Deluxe Resort over the All-Star Sports Resort?  Absolutely!   But, I can truly say we had a great time as a family at the Value Resort.   I hope you enjoy your stay at the All-Star!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
