Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you stopped by! It sounds like you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. And with a
little one in tow! You're sure to make lots of magical memories together.
You ask an excellent question. Children
under the age of 3 are special Guests of Mickey Mouse and do not require admission for entry into the theme parks. Once a Mouseketeer is 3-years old, though, they will need a valid
Theme Park Ticket. If you'll be visiting the theme parks with a 3-year old, be sure to purchase an Ages 3-9 Ticket (it's a bit less expensive than an Ages 10+ Ticket!).
Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking and little legs tire quickly. For that reason, a stroller has been a must-have for my family's Disney vacations for years now!
Strollers are available to rent from all four theme parks, but you're also welcome to
bring a stroller from home so long as it's no larger than 31" in width and 52" in length. Spotting your stroller among a sea of others in the designated stroller parking areas can be tricky, so I recommend marking your stroller with something that makes it stand out. I always tie a Mickey Mouse ribbon around the handlebar of our stroller, but I've seen Guests use balloons, nameplates, and even battery-operated twinkle lights!
I hope this was helpful. Please let us know if you have any other questions about the Walt Disney World Resort! We'd love to help you plan a magical visit.
