Mom And Daughter Resort Room

    My children and I are going to Disney World for the first time in October, and I have planned some early 8am bfasts at different resorts. I am getting mixed answers. Wondering if there will be transportation to these or will we have to get a taxi?

    Hi Jennifer:

    The general buses start running to the Parks about an hour prior to Park opening.  And special buses to the Parks start running even earlier for Guests who have early morning character breakfast reservations at restaurants inside the Parks. These buses are unofficially referred to as "breakfast buses." These early-morning breakfast buses begin to run from Resorts to the Parks as early as 6:30 or 6:45. 

    However, since there is no direct Resort-to-Resort bus transportation, it will be extremely difficult to get to your early morning breakfasts at other Resorts without a car or a taxi.  The only exception I can think of is if you have an early breakfast at the Contemporary Resort, you can easily walk to the Resort after getting dropped off at Magic Kingdom (about a 10-15 minute walk or stroll). 

    So your best best to hit your early morning breakfasts at other Resorts (as opposed to inside the Parks) is to take a taxi.  Taxis are generally found right outside of the main door to your Resort.
