    If we have children over 10 who are considered adults on the meal plan, can they order off the childrens meals and use their quick service credits for a childrens meal? Thank you.

    Hi there Janet.

    I'm glad that you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

    When dining at Table Service Dining locations using the Disney Dining Plan, you'll find that most restaurants will allow some flexibility to ensure that your children's appetites are satisfied! If you don't see anything on the adult menu that fits the tastes of your 'adult' aged children (keep in mind that you can certainly ask to omit sauces or switch side dishes to be more child-friendly), ask to see the child menu options at that location. I've often had experiences where our server, in conjunction with the location chef, will conjure up an adult-sized portion of a child's meal. This way, you're still receiving the 'value' of the adult pricing you've paid, however your child is still receiving the type of cuisine he or she would like to enjoy.

    When dining at quick service locations, you can certainly opt to use your children's Quick Service, Adult credits for child meals if you wish. Alternatively, and so as not to lose the value of those credits, you may find it's more optimal to pay cash for a Kids' Meal and save the Counter Service meal credit for other, adult meals throughout the day and throughout your stay.

    If ever in doubt during your visit, simply ask a Cast Member at your Quick Service location or your server when dining at Table Service. They'll assist you with the best recommendation to ensure that your credits are utilized to your best advantage.
