Ahoy Kathryn –
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A Disney cruise is an excellent way to celebrate the end of the school year with your young sea pups, and we are so excited to hear about your plans. Your pirate crew will have a fabulous journey on the seas as they experience fun in the
Oceaneer Club, cool off in the pool and water areas, enjoy first run movies in
Buena Vista Theatre, savor fine cuisine in with
Rotational Dining and marvel in the first class service that Disney specializes in. Great minds think alike because I tend to pick cruises that occur when the majority of children are in school. I have found the pricing to be better for my crew, and we love to meet other families who think the same as we do! In America, many children have not yet started their fall classes in August, although this may vary based on their region. Most children return to their classes by mid to late August, so I recommend waiting until closer to the end of the month if you would like a smaller crowd. As far as the weather is concerned, with its tropical climate, the
Bahamas is quite warm with highs ranging from 85-90 degrees Fahrenheit and lows in the upper 70’s. Your crew may also notice mild to moderate brief rains during that time. Kathryn, we are so excited that you visited us here, and we hope to see you with us again soon!
