Can children who aren't strong swimmers wear life jackets on the big water slides at the hotels?

    Hello Kristen!

Thanks for paying us another visit here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Looks like you're planning a magical stay at the Disneyland Resort.

Summer is just around the corner and I hope to find myself at one of the three resort pools this summer. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has the Redwood Pool that boasts a 90 foot water slide that wraps around the stump of a redwood tree. Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel rooftop Paradise Pool has the California Streamin’ water slide which is made for speed! My kids’ favorite pool and water slide is going to be at the Disneyland Hotel’s E-Ticket and D-Ticket pools. You’ll find 2 Monorail Waterslides that feature replicas of the original Monorail Trains! They are so fun!

One of my favorite amenities at the pools at the Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line is that they provide life jackets in all different sizes. This is especially nice for guests that are traveling to their destination by plane. One less thing to pack in your suitcase for your Mouseketeers! You’ll be happy to hear that the life jackets are allowed on the water slides! My daughter rode her first water slide at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa when she was just 2 years old!

Well Kristen, the only thing left to do now is decide which of the wonderful hotels you’ll book for your family vacation. If you think of anything else be sure to come back and pay us a visit.

Remember, always believe in the magic!
