are children allowed to wear bubble floatation devices in hotel resort pools?

Hello Kevin!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When traveling with kids, I always remind parents that most children have as much fun in their Walt Disney World Resort Pool as they do in the Theme Parks.  Many planners try to pack in so much Endless Magic in the Theme Parks that they fail to include enough time for exploration of their own Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.

The pools at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel have complimentary life vests available for Guests to comfortably accommodate young children and weaker swimmers. The life vests are on a first-come, first-served basis and while they provide varying sizes, you'll never know if your children will be comfortable with what is provided.

Many parents choose to bring forms of personal flotation devices (including blow-up arm flotation devices) for their little one to use in the pool. Cast Members and Lifeguards are interested in providing a safe and enjoyable experience for Guests which includes allowing children to wear flotation devices they are comfortable with.

I have personally brought and had my children wear combination swimsuits with flotation devices built-in to ensure their personal safety.

Remember to use your My Disney Experience Account to Check-In Online up to 60 days in advance of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation to expedite the process and have you swimming in that Resort Pool even sooner.

    Just Keep Swimming!
