Hi, Are children allowed to wear arm bands (water wings) at the water parks or are they required to wear a life jacket? Can we hire life jackets and if so what is the cost?

Greetings, Amanda! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We’re so happy you stopped by to bring us your question!

As a huge fan of the two splash-tastic world-class water parks at the Walt Disney World Resort, I’m super excited to learn you are planning a visit during your stay! They are equally wonderful, but if you must choose between them, I’d have to recommend Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon so you can experience the brand-new water slide, Miss Adventure Falls. This new attraction is the longest water slide ever in Disney Water Parks history. And it’s an adventure that the entire family can enjoy!

Amanda, I’m happy to share that your Mouseketeer will absolutely be able to bring their preferred flotation device to use at the water parks. Life vests are also available throughout the parks free of cost. So, go ahead and gear up with your favorite flotation device and enjoy the aquatic fun and all the Disneyfied adventures to be found at the two water parks during your visit!

Don’t forget to pack your sunscreen and those big smiles. You’ll be needing both throughout the day!

Have a magical day and we hope to see ya back real soon!
