Hi Cheryl!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending your
Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR. I'm happy to help a fellow Texan, and it'll be my pleasure to be your planEAR today.
At this time, while the State of California
strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated and/or test negative for COVID-19 before arriving at the Disneyland Resort, Disney itself has no such required policy in place. I do want to say that things could change between now and when you visit, so definitely check back either with us here or with this
Reopening Information and Health & Safety Guidelines link. For example, Face Coverings (masks) are currently required in all indoor areas, including in attraction queues that are partially outdoor and on all transportation vehicles, even the semi-enclosed ones. However, this policy has come and gone a few times over the last yEAR. Pro Tip: It's always better to pack your face masks and not use them than to need them and not have them.
Cheryl is this your first visit to Disneyland? Be sure to check out the "Filter By" option in this
Attractions link that can sort attractions by their thrill levels but also by your mini Mouseketeers' heights. Be sure to check the
Disney Parks Blog often as they are the best source of Disneyland Resort news straight from Mickey himself. And lastly, be sure to like and follow the
official planDisney Instagram account for all kinds of Disneyland Resort tips and tricks, from Disneyland must-do's to the iconic (ear-conic?) snacks you
must try.
I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney Days, Cheryl! Feel free to stop back by with any more planning questions you might have. We're All Ears!
~Kristen
