My 2 children (ages 1 and 2), my wife, sister in law, and mother in law have a trip planned to Disney February 4-10 2022. My wife's birthday is February 7th and I would like to surprise her with different things throughout the trip. Any ideas?

    Hello there, Daniel.

Welcome to planDisney! I think it's absolutely wonderful that you want to make your wife's Walt Disney World Resort vacation even more magical for her birthday. That's so thoughtful! The first thing I suggest you do is call 407-560-2428 and have a Cast Member add a note onto the reservation that it's your wife's birthday. This alerts Cast Members on property of her celebration, so she may hear an extra "Happy Birthday!" or two on her trip.

Utilize Disney Floral & Gifts to set the stage for your wife's special day by arranging for an in-room celebration. They specialize in balloon bouquets, floral arrangements, cupcakes and more for all occasions that can be delivered to Resort hotel rooms on property. You can even have her surprise delivered to her Resort room before she arrives so it's there when she walks in. I did this for my husband's birthday a few years ago, and it was a huge hit!

Book her a Capture Your Moment photo session at Magic Kingdom Park. This is a private, personalized 20-minute photo session with a talented Disney PhotoPass photographer where they'll put their sole focus on your wife and other family members. What better way to capture the special moments from her big day than with the backdrop of the 50th Anniversary Celebration's centerpiece, Cinderella Castle?

Your wife deserves to dine like royalty, so make a dining reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table for her birthday dinner. While there is no Character Dining at this location at the moment, what princess wouldn't want to enjoy a meal inside Cinderella Castle? There's no better way for her to end the night than with a nighttime spectacular, so you could book her a dessert party, such as the Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment Treats & Seats where she can feast on delectable desserts while viewing Disney Enchantment from a private viewing area.

If you really want to go all out and arrange for a HUGE surprise for her birthday, I suggest you book a private Fireworks Cruise for her to see Disney Enchantment from a one-of-a-kind perspective on a private chartered boat on the Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake. If she's more of an EPCOT girl like me, you could book a Fireworks Cruise for her to view Harmonious from World Showcase Lagoon instead. She will literally have a front row seat to the magic with this option! These extravagant cruises include a private boat and captain and assorted snacks and drinks for up to 10 Guests. It also includes a celebratory banner and balloons.

I hope I've given you some great options to consider, Daniel. I'm sure no matter what you decide to do, your wife will be blown away by your thoughtfulness. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any further questions you might have.

    Have a magical day,
    Alyssa
