Hi Naisha,
I'm SO excited that you're planning your very first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! You and your children are going to LOVE it! While you may see offers from third party vendors for discounted admission tickets, I would never suggest going that route. I've heard too many sad stories of guests arriving to the gates, thinking they got an amazing deal on their park tickets to learn there that their ticket is not valid and their money was wasted. When purchasing your
tickets direct from Disney, you can be confident that your ticket will be valid. You will find that the longer you stay, your price per day does get significantly lower. Did you know that you may
bring your own food into the parks? Feel free to pack drinks, snacks, and even sandwiches or something simple for a meal to help your family save some money.
As for attractions, I believe you'll be pleased to find that there are
many attractions at all four theme parks that your whole family will be able to experience together. At Magic Kingdom Park, some of my family's favorites are "it's a small world," Dumbo The Flying Elephant, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Jungle Cruise, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor to name just a few. If there are some more thrilling rides you'd like to experience without your little ones,
Rider Switch is a wonderful service. Also, be sure to pick up a Times Guide when you enter for Character experiences as well as my two must-do's: the Festival of Fantasy Parade and Happily Ever After nighttime fireworks show. Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Naisha, and have a magical vacation!
Missy
