do my children, ages 1,3 need to wear masks

Hello Mark! Thanks for bringing your planning question to planDisney! Your March visit is quickly approaching! I'm glad you are asking all of the right questions to be ready for your vacation!

The Walt Disney World Resort has taken many steps to keep their Cast Members and Guests safe and healthy! This includes the wearing of masks for all Guests ages two and up. Consider making the mask wearing experience something fun for your three-year old. There are many masks that carry images of our favorite Disney characters! You might want to take your three-year old to a local Disney Store and let them pick some of their favorite masks. I recently picked up several Disney masks at a discounted price at a local Disney Store outlet! The Disney Store carries a variety of mask sizes. I'm an elementary school principal. I try to wear fun masks to school. I receive many compliments about my masks from my students. In fact, some have come to school a few days later excited that they were able to find the same mask in their own size!

If you don't live close to a Disney Store, you can visit shopdisney.com where you will be able to find a variety of masks that your child might get excited to wear during your visit to see Mickey and Minnie!
