Ahoy there, Barb! Thanks for sailing by planDisney as you plan for an adventure on Disney Cruise Line.
Children under 6 who are US Citizens going on a closed-loop itinerary are not required to have a
US passport, but they must have an original state-issued birth certificate. The options for US Citizens on closed-looped itineraries, regardless of age, are a valid US passport, a valid US passport card, or an original state-issued birth certificate. For Guests ages 16 years and older who are presenting an original state-issued birth certificate, a government-issued photo ID is also required. Travel documentation for each Guest will need to be brought to the port to present to the Disney Cruise Line team on embarkation day.
Travel documentation will not be needed when you debark in Nassau, though. Each Guest will need his or her
Key to the World Card or
DisneyBand+ to debark and embark. Guests 18 and older will also need a photo ID to debark and embark.
Barb, the
Disney Wish has great activity spaces geared toward kids. Young Guests ages 3 to 10 can experience the magic of Disney Cruise Line through the
Disney Oceaneer Club. From designing a Super Hero costume fit for an Avenger to visiting Belle's Library for reading, there are so many great activities to keep the children busy while you explore the
adult-exclusive areas. Once onboard, you will find the hours of operation and daily activities in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
If you have anyother questions, sail back to
planDisney. We are here to help you plan your next Disney vacation.
