Do children under the age of 3 get magic bands

    Hi, there!

Beth, it sounds like you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. How very exciting!

I chuckled when I read your question. My daughter is just 10-months old and my family recently had the opportunity to customize our MagicBands on My Disney Experience for our upcoming vacation. While our little princess certainly doesn't need a MagicBand for park entry or to check-in at FastPass+ entrances, she was offered one. My sons insisted their little sister not be deprived of receiving her very first MagicBand, so we went to work customizing it. At only 10-months old, she hasn't declared her favorite color yet, which meant her brothers took it upon themselves to choose for her, and they rarely agree on anything. "Purple!" "Pink!" "Purple!" "Pink!" It reminded me of the scene in Sleeping Beauty when the fairies can't agree on the color of Aurora's dress!

If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, everyone listed on your reservation will be offered a new, complimentary MagicBand - including any children under the age of 3. It's just one of the many benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel!

Beth, I love chatting about little ones and the Walt Disney World Resort, so please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
