With 2 children & 3 adults thinking a standard rm will be crowded, what do you think, 2 rooms maybe be better? I am a bit worried abt the extra cost, but extra rm & 2 bathrms maybe be better. Please tell me more about rm size? Thank you.

    Hi, Patricia!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your question.

Hotel room sizes vary based on which of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels you choose. If you’d like to stick to one room for the sake of simplicity and your budget, I recommend staying at the Disneyland Hotel because the rooms are the most spacious. Standard rooms are 364 to 415 square feet in size, and many include a sleeper sofa in addition to two queen-size beds to accommodate up to five people. There are also suites ranging in size from 740-3,400 square feet.

I agree that having two bathrooms can be a huge benefit for larger groups, especially when it comes to getting ready in the mornings! I suggest going online or contacting the Walt Disney Travel Company to get a price quote for two rooms at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel (which is typically the least expensive of the three resort hotels) and one room at the Disneyland Hotel so you can do a cost comparison and decide which works best for your family in terms of both logistics and budget.

I hope this helps, Patricia. Please write back with any other questions you may have as your planning continues.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
