Hi, Samantha! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I see we share the same first name. It really is a small world after all! Another thing we have in common is that we both have children with special needs. I have a son who is on the autism spectrum, and one of the reasons why my family loves the
Walt Disney World Resort so much is that they go above and beyond to make the magic accessible to everyone.
I would suggest that before your trip, you familiarize yourself with Walt Disney World Resort's
Services for Guests with Disabilities. When we visit the Walt Disney World Resort with my son, we utilize
Disability Access Service (DAS). Disability Access Service is intended for guests whose disability prevents them from waiting in a traditional queue environment. When you arrive for your first day of fun at one of the Walt Disney World
theme parks, you will want to visit
Guest Relations. There you can speak with a Cast Member to determine if Disability Access Service is the right accommodation for your children.
You have chosen a wonderful time to plan your magical vacation. There are so many
new and exciting things happening now and in the near future at the Walt Disney World Resort. I am sure you and your family will have an amazing adventure together! Please visit us again if you have any additional questions as you plan for your trip.
See ya real soon!
Samantha
