Hi there, Nina, and welcome to planDisney!
Some of the best ways to relax at Walt Disney World Resort are at the amazing bars and lounges around property. There’s nothing like having a small bite and a drink after a long day of fun in the sun. Even right now, I’d love to be sitting atop the Gran Destino Tower enjoying a libation at
Dahlia Lounge, which has breathtaking views. And those yummy churros and tapas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park’s
Nomad Lounge are perfect for the whole family.
Most lounges at Walt Disney World are accessible to younger Mouseketeers. For the most part, you won’t have any issues bringing them along. For instance, my boys love hanging out at
Oga’s Cantina at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s mostly known for its unique drinks, but they have cool treats like the Blue Bantha (including its donut). Not all bars and lounges have an extensive food menu, so you may want to check out their offerings online before you visit.
The only spot that I can think of that has a cutoff time for when children are no longer allowed is
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto (after 8 p.m. is 21 years or older). Then, there are bars like
Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk that are exclusively for adults.
AN EXTRA GEM: If there’s a specific dinner reservation that you really want to get, keep trying until the day of. You’ll be surprised by how many Guests make last-minute plan changes within the cancellation window. Refresh, refresh, refresh in the
My Disney Experience App to snag those perfect advance dining reservations.
With all of this food talk, I’m now feeling a rumbly in my tumbly! Nina, if you have any additional questions about your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth,
revisit us here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
