Hello Sandi!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It is a pleasure to answer your first question.
When you add a
Disney Dining Plan to a
Magic Your Way Vacation Package, it must be done for all members of your party, so your little one will have to be included. Children ages 3 to 9 must order from a children’s menu where available, and it is my personal experience using the Disney Dining Plan with a very picky eater that there are many available options. You will have to purchase meals for your child anyway, so I don’t see why you should not add a dining plan to your vacation package.
If your child has a very restrictive diet regarding
allergies and/or other restrictions, then I highly recommend planning your dining experiences in advance with help from the Special Diets team. The Walt Disney World Resort goes above and beyond to make sure all Guests have the most magical experience at all levels, so even with dietary restrictions you can still enjoy the dining plan and make the most of it. Contact special diets prior to your arrival at
Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com and they will help you navigate the dining process. In addition, always note all restrictions when making
dining reservations and let your server know upon arriving at your restaurant. You may also choose to speak with the chef if you have questions.
I hope this helps you while planning, Sandi. Please stop by with more questions real soon!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
