Hiya Jacqueline!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your dining question! Oh, my goodness—your Disney World adventure is just around the corner! I can already picture you strolling down Main Street, bubbles floating through the air, as you smell that sweet scent of popcorn while entering the park.
As a fellow mama to a little princess who just turned three, I’m thrilled to help you navigate the world of dining with tiny taste-testers. So, let’s dive in! At all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurants—including buffets and family-style dining—children under the age of 3 eat for free! That’s right, no charge for your little gourmet-in-training to nibble from your plate or enjoy their own small bites.
At most table-service restaurants, they can also share from a parent’s meal without issue. However, if you decide to order a separate meal from the kids’ menu for your two-year-old at a non-buffet location, you will be charged for that dish. It’s totally up to you and your child’s appetite (and sometimes mood), what you decide.
One important thing to remember, Jacqueline: when booking
dining reservations, always include your little one in the party size—even if they are under 3. This helps Cast Members prepare the right table setup for your family, high chair, and all.
Now, if you're anything like me and love food and characters, I highly recommend booking a character dining experience or two. Our crew adores breakfast at
Cape May Café, where Daisy Duck shows off her beachy style. And ʻ
Ohana is a family favorite—there’s nothing quite like watching Stitch cause his usual mischief while dining away.
Jacqueline, I hope your vacation is filled with magical bites, joyful memories, and pixie dust along the way. If you have more questions, don’t hesitate to stop by again.
See you real soon!
Christina
