My child is in a walking boot due to a broke foot. We will she be allowed to ride with the boot? And also how easy is it to get around with a wheelchair? We have a very short stay and want to see as much as possible. Thank you:)

    Hi Kim!

I am so saddened to hear of your child's injury!  However, I want to reassure you that the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts do an incredible job of accommodating those with injuries and disabilities.  So, hopefully, with a little planning and patience, you will still be able to make this an enjoyable and memorable trip for all!

I believe you will find that your child will be able to experience most, if not all, of the attractions.  However, she must be able to load and unload from each attraction without the assistance of Cast Members.  Members of her travel party may certainly assist.

The Parks are very large, and will require lots of walking, so I definitely advise the rental of a wheelchair, which is available at the Entrance of each Park.  Walt Disney World is very "wheelchair friendly".  Also, check with Guest Relations, as they can also provide you with a disabilities guide, which will go into further detail regarding the attractions throughout the Park.

Have a safe and happy time in Walt Disney World!
