Hi Jennifer,
You are welcome to bring food & beverages for your daughter into the parks. There are a couple of exceptions to this - no glass containers (except baby food jars) & no alcoholic beverages. You are also welcome to bring a cooler for your food & drinks as long as it is not larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high.
I have a child with special dietary needs and have found that the Walt Disney World Food and Beverage Team does their best to accommodate those needs whenever possible. Click
here for more information including nutritional information. If you have Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs), desired dining requests will be addressed, but please note in many cases, advance notice is required—usually at the time of your reservation, which can be made up to 180 days in advance.
I always mark my calendar to put in my special requests at
SpecialDiets@DisneyWorld.com at least 14 days prior to our arrival. They typically email me a form to complete and send back to them with my special requests.
When you arrive for any reservations, be sure you mention that you have a special dietary request and again when they seat you so that the Chef will come to visit your table as soon as possible to avoid delays.
I have found that between taking food into the parks for my son & assistance from the Food & Beverage Team, we've been able to meet my son's needs.
If you need to store any medications or need medical assistance, there are First Aid Stations located throughout all of the parks.
Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
