If my child is two when we arrive, but turns three during the trip, will I need to buy tickets? I’ve read that we would not need to, but I don’t want anyone to see it’s her birthday in the system and hassle us during the trip so I wanted to verify. Thanks!

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Taylor!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by, and we are thrilled to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! We know you are going to have the BEST - TIME - EVER! (Can't you hear Rapunzel saying this right now?!)

It sounds like your princess will be celebrating a birthday at the "Most MAGICAL Place on Earth!" WOO HOO! Mickey and Minnie can't wait to tell your daughter "Happy Birthday" in person! Your whole family is going to create a memory that will truly last a lifetime!

As you plan your vacation, I wanted to let you know that all Princesses ages three and older must have a valid ticket while on-site. The one exception is for guests who have a Disney Ticket Package. Since the Disney Ticket Package system cannot process different ticket types within the same party, we make an exception for children who turn 3 during their vacation. However, for all other Princesses, a ticket is required once they reach their third birthday.

Ok...you MUST make sure that your daughter meets Mickey and Minnie on her big day! You can find Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom, and you can find Minnie Mouse at Pete's Silly Slideshow in Magic Kingdom. You can also meet Mickey and his pals at Mickey & Friends in EPCOT.

Another fun idea to celebrate your princess on her big day would be to pick up a complimentary Happy Birthday button at Guest Services inside any of the theme parks! The GREATEST thing about wearing this button is the dozens of Happy Birthday wishes she will receive from Cast Members and Guests. She will definitely feel like the "Belle of the Ball!"

I hope this information helps you in your planning! If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
