Hey there, Cynthia. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
Children under the age of 3 do not require valid Theme Park admission when visiting
Walt Disney World. Since your son is 3, he will need a park ticket this vacation. The good news is that children ages 3-9 are at a discounted rate when buying those tickets. It's easy to purchase online. Just go to the
theme park admission page of the Walt Disney World website. Then choose your ticket type. You can select from options like a Standard Park Ticket which allows you to enter one park per day or the Park Hopper option which allows you to enter multiple parks in a single day. Then you'll need to decide how many days worth of tickets you'll need. After that, you'll see a calendar and you will pick which days your child will need a ticket for and then you'll select the child ticket option. From there, you'll see the grand total and be able to check out. It's a very seamless process and should only take you a few minutes. If you haven't purchased tickets for yourself yet either, you might be interested in a
vacation package instead. Packages can include your resort stay, the Disney Dining Plan, park tickets and so much more. It's a great option and can save you some money by booking this way!
I hope this helps clear up any confusion. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask. Have fun!
