My child turns 3 in March and my magic key expires in April but I want to renew in April but also want to get my child a magic key

Welcome to planDisney, Candace! I'm so thrilled you shared your question with us and we'll be so happy to share some guidance for you as you continue planning your visits as a Magic Key Holder!

One of the best things about participating in the Magic Key program is sharing so many special moments with my own kids through our park visits. I understand completely why you'd want to purchase a Magic Key for your Little One! I checked with a Cast Member to inquire about your specific question, as it does differ from the conventional Magic Key purchase process, especially since new sales of Magic Keys are currently paused, at the time I'm writing. Since you are a current Magic Key Holder, you can visit one of the Main Entrance Ticket Booths within 60 days of your child's birthday (and bring their birth certificate or passport for age verification) to purchase a Magic Key for them. If you have questions about this process, I suggest calling the dedicated Magic Key Holder line and speaking with a Cast Member. Then, remember that you will want to renew your own Magic Key during your pass' renewal window (up to 30 days prior to the pass expiration date).

I hope this helps, Candace! And more than anything, I wish you many magical memories with your Little One as you explore all the wonder of 'The Happiest Place on Earth,' together! If we can help with anything else in the meantime, please come back and visit us again, here at planDisney!

    Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
    Tishra
