My child turns 3 in the first week of our trip. He is very tall for his age so I wonder if we need ID for him? He is tall enough for some rides that we will purchase Genie fast pass for. Will he be able to join the line with us ok?

Hey, Danny, and welcome to planDisney. Your trip across the pond is so close and you must be getting excited to see Mickey and the rest of the Fab Five.

You will not need any identification for your son as long as he meets the minimum height requirement to ride the attraction. This is a safety issue and independent of age. You are wise to invest in Disney Genie+ Service to access Lightning Lanes keeping your wait times on certain attractions to a minimum. Less queuing means more doing. Also, do not forget about the Virtual Queue for select attractions like Tron Lightcycle / Run.

planDisney Pro Tip. Young ones get worn out quickly. I recommend you take a mid-day break and recharge at the pool or even take a nap especially if your prince gets a little ornery. I have been there and done that so many times. After the break, head back for night adventures in the theme parks.

Danny, please write me back directly with any follow-questions to help make your May Walt Disney World Resort vacation the very best.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
