What if a child turns 3 during the trip. I’m reserving room and purchasing tickets to check in on a Thursday; my son turns 3 on Friday.

Hi Chevy! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your trip is in just THREE days! Wow! I bet you are excited to celebrate your son's birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort.

I recently spoke with a Cast Member about this and was assured that since your son is 2-years old when you check in at your Disney Resort hotel, he will be considered 2-years old for your entire Disney Resort hotel reservation. Even though you will be celebrating his birthday during your trip, he will still be a "Guest of Mickey!"

Make sure to look into some fun surprises for your kiddo like a complimentary celebration pin when you check into your Disney Resort hotel, as well as the amazing talents of Disney Floral and Gifts. If you need the perfect birthday cake, Disney has that covered as well! And trust me ... I know from experience just how delicious these cakes are!

I wish your little one the happiest of birthdays, Chevy! Enjoy your magical vacation!
