Hi Emily,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! First, Happy (early) Birthday to your daughter! I’m sure she’ll be so excited to be celebrating her birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort. Remember to get her complimentary birthday button from your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or any merchandise location!
Now, when it comes to tickets, once she turns three, she’d need a ticket to enter any of the Theme Parks. Since her birthday is during your trip, I suggest planning your Theme Park visits before she turns three. Then for the rest of your vacation you could do things like
Disney Springs, have a resort day, or even visit
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon (separate ticket needed)!
I know
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a favorite experience of all the princesses out there, but unfortunately, it’s still unavailable. In the past, there were three locations for the Boutique:
Magic Kingdom Park,
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and
Disney Springs. When those shops were open, you would have needed a ticket for Magic Kingdom, but the other two locations, you’d just need your reservation.
Though Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique isn’t open, that doesn’t mean your princess can’t have the royal treatment on her birthday, if you choose to go the ticket route. There are a number of other experiences her royal highness can have across the Walt Disney World Property including a
meet and greet with Princess Tiana, dining in
Cinderella’s Castle, or seeing the princesses in
Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade! To take part in any of these activities, your daughter would need a
ticket on her birthday since she’d meet the age requirement for a child’s ticket.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare to have an epic celebration for your little one. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
