Hi there, Guadalupe!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for sending your question to us. Spending time with family at
Disneyland Resort makes it easy to step away from the real world and reconnect with each other. This is why Disneyland Resort is my family's favorite vacation destination!
I love the reduced price for many of the Child Theme Park Tickets! Those Child Theme Park Tickets are available for kids between 3-9 years old at this time. Kids under 3 years of age do not need a theme park ticket. Every Guest at least 10 years old (and older) needs to purchase an Adult Theme Park Ticket. If your niece will visit Disneyland Resort while she is 9 years old, she can use a Child Theme Park Ticket. If she waits until she is 10 to step through those magical gates, she will need to use an Adult Theme Park Ticket. It is a good excuse to visit soon! Guests need both a valid theme park ticket and park reservation to enter a theme park at Disneyland Resort. You can purchase tickets and make park reservations on the
Disneyland Resort website.
Celebrating birthdays is extra exciting at Disney destinations! We took one of my kids on a Disney vacation right before she turned 3 years old so we did not need to purchase a ticket for her. We found plenty of opportunities to recognize her special day, even though it was a few days before her actual birthday. You may want to consider doing the same thing and visit Disneyland Resort right before your niece's double-digit birthday. Make sure to stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, or at Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park, for a complimentary birthday button!
Guadalupe, I hope you and your niece have a magical visit to Disneyland Resort! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have additional questions.
Magic Happens!
