Welcome to planDisney, Ronnie!
It looks like your Walt Disney World vacation is right around the corner. How exciting! Soon you’ll be strolling down Main Street U.S.A. towards Cinderella’s Castle, and enjoying all the Mickey-shaped snacks your heart desires.
Children 3 years and older need to purchase a ticket to enter the Magic Kingdom. There is a children’s ticket for guests ages 3–9 years old that costs slightly less than a standard theme park ticket for ages 10+. Children ages 0–2 do not need a ticket to enter the Magic Kingdom. You can find more information about your ticket options
here.
If you need assistance purchasing tickets, feel free to call the
Tickets and Hotel Reservation line to speak with a friendly Cast Member. They’re always happy to help!
As you plan your Disney Day with a young kiddo in tow, be sure to review the
Attractions and Entertainment page on the Walt Disney World website or the My Disney Experience mobile app. Both have useful filters that allow you to search attractions based on age, interests, height requirements, and type of attraction. It’s a great way to quickly see which attractions are a good fit for your little one. I’d also suggest browsing the
planDisney video library, which is full of useful tips for visiting the Disney Parks with toddlers, tweens, or with a multi-generational group.
I hope this information is helpful, Ronnie. Don’t hesitate to send in any other vacation planning questions you may have. You're as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
