For child swap, is the parent staying with the child able to take the child to another ride while the other parent stands in line and does their ride. Then the parent who is with the child come back later to ride?

    Hi Jamey!

I love the Rider Switch Service available to Guests at Walt Disney World.  This service adds another layer of Pixie Dust to my family's vacation.  Click onto the previous link to read all about this magical service.

I am often the parent waiting with the "height-challenged" child.  My strategy is to do exactly what you suggest - find another ride or attraction to experience with the waiting child while the rest of the family goes on the ride.  Currently there is not a time window in which you must return with the Rider Switch pass.  So if your family has dining reservations after the first party rides, you may leave and come back later to use the Rider Switch service.

I hope this information helps you with your vacation planning Jamey!  If you have any more questions, please come back and ask them here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love to help make your vacation even more MAGICAL!

    Blessings,
