Hi, Diane!
Welcome, and thanks for your question about exploring the Disneyland Resort with little ones. You’re going to love seeing the Happiest Place on Earth through their young eyes, and I think you’ll be pleased by how many attractions you can enjoy as a family.
If there is no minimum height requirement at an attraction or it’s listed as being for “any height,” then it’s safe for even an infant to ride with you! Some favorite attractions my whole family likes to experience together in Disneyland Park are “it’s a small world,” Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan’s Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise. Almost every attraction in Fantasyland is baby- and toddler-friendly! There are even a few attractions with height requirements that some toddlers may be tall enough to ride with a parent, like Autopia at Disneyland Park and Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters at Disney California Adventure Park, which have a minimum height requirement of only 32 inches.
Check out the theme park
attractions list online. It can be sorted by age interest, height requirement and thrill level. If you’ll have another adult with you, use
Rider Switch, a service that allows Guests with small children to take turns experiencing attractions without waiting in line two separate times.
If this will be your family's inaugural Disneyland Resort vacation, be sure to pick up complimentary “1st Visit” celebration buttons at City Hall in Disneyland Park or at the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park to add a little extra magic to your trip. I hope this helps you plan, Diane, and that you have a pixie dust-packed visit with your young Mouseketeers!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
