Will my child under 3 need a Magic band to get on rides with me and into the park?

    Hello there, Morgan!

It is a pleasure to welcome you to planDisney. We are thrilled to answer your first question and help you plan a pixie-dusted Disney vacation!

I am happy to hear you will bring your Mouseketeer to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Seeing the Walt Disney World Resort through the eyes of our little ones is truly special. There is so much for them to see and do, so get ready to make memories you will cherish forever!

Because kids under 3 are Mickey’s special Guests and do not require theme park tickets, they do not need a MagicBand or cards to enter the parks with an accompanying adult. I am also happy to share that your child can experience attractions with you as long as they meet height requirements. If they are too little to embark on a specific adventure, you can request Rider Switch service at participating attractions. Be sure to check the height requirements for attractions at all four theme parks as you plan your visit.

planDisney tip: Remember to stop by the Baby Care Centers at the parks during your visit. They are the perfect spot for a diaper change, a snack, and rest. They also sell items we sometimes forget to bring to the parks, like wipes, diapers, sunblock lotion, and more.

Thank you for sending your question our way, Morgan. I hope this information is helpful and that you have an unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
