Welcome to planDisney, Robin.
I'm so glad you chose to be our Guest. There's nothing like taking your little Mouseketeer to The Happiest Place on Earth. This summer, my son was able to meet the REAL Lightning McQueen and the REAL Mater when we visited
Cars Land at
Disney California Adventure Park. He still talks about it! I just know your little one is going to have a magical time.
And since your child is under three years old, they are considered a "Guest of Mickey." This means they don't require a theme park ticket or theme park reservation. And I can tell you from experience that Disney does not require proof of age for children. Therefore, you're good to go!
Also, you might be helped to know that if you decide to purchase
Disney Genie+, your child will be able to join you on any attractions that you make Lightning Lane selections for (assuming they meet the height requirement, of course). But one thing to note: if you decide to make dining reservations, you'll want to include your child in the Guest count. This way, the Cast Members will make sure you have a table big enough for your family.
Here's a tip: if you visit Disney California Adventure, spend some time at
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Grizzly Peak. My own Mouseketeers loved running, climbing, balancing, sliding, swinging, and exploring this fantastic area.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Robin. TTFN!
Mike
